DISCLAIMER: this essay took form late at night over a few glasses of wine and a small gathering of American women. We recognize that this essay is not culturally sensitive and we acknowledge that it came from a moment of potential "American superiority and arrogance". However, it was very therapeutic and comical relief to many of our questions for which we truly cannot identify any logic.

Why would you place the toilet paper holder almost out of reach of the toilet?
Why would you place the toilet paper outside the stall?
Why would you place a very loud club in the middle of a hotel?
Why are the toilet seats always missing?
Why would you have the hook for the mosquito net at the foot of the bed?
Why would you place the showerhead directly over the toilet?
Why do you leave the vans running even when getting gas?
