I have an amazing ability to lose things. This last weekend I lost a number of warm clothing articles just in time for the coldest week of the year so far here!
On Friday I lost my ear muffs.
On Saturday I lost my hoodie.
On Sunday I lost my gloves. This is my second pair of gloves that I have lost within the last two weeks.
I never manage to lose my scarves though and still have about 6 of those. A little lopsided.
I almost feel that I shouldn't buy any replacement articles because 1) I will probably lose them eventually too 2) I deserve punishment for my ridiculous irresponsibility 3) I can't afford to with my current no income status.
I almost lost my purse a few weeks ago. I left it sitting on a bench in a Metro Station. I realized this when I was on a train a good 25 minutes away. After panicking and looking like an idiot looking around me on the train, I got off, boarded another train going the other direction, and scolded myself and thought the worse the entire way to the original stations. Fortunately, there are videos in the station and a security guard had nabbed it right away and I was able to get it back easily. Although I had already decided that if it was indeed lost, I was never ever going to invest (which for me, really does not mean that much money anyway!) in another cute purse or wallet, because I would inevitably lose it!
