When I first began to become more interested in development work, I wanted to avoid Africa. It now receives so much attention, in an almost trendy manner, and I wanted to focus on countries and issues that were not receiving attention. So I am still marveling where I am now because I did not intentionally seek it out. Life simply brought me to this place which I have to think is meant to be--never in a million years would I have predicted this.
