Only I do.
Like every time I try to register for a class at the IMA (the UW rec/sports center) and they tell me my membership is expired and I am not a registered student. I truly do beg to differ because if I was not a registered student right now I would be 97.3% less stressed. Every quarter I have to convince them I exist. And I do.
I am a concurrent degree student which means I am a graduate student in two different departments: Evans School of Public Affairs and Jackson School of International Studies. UW only had me down for being an Evans student and it didn't seem to affect me at all so I never looked into it. Only today I called the Jackson School to verify that they received a scholarship application from me. And they tried to tell me I was ineligible because I was not a Jackson School student. Once again I beg to differ. They are now coordinating with the Graduate School (yes some third entity with an ambiguous and bureaucratic role) to fix that. And yes, I am eligible. Glad I called.
