Spurt of Creativity, aka Procrastination

First off, my awesome swivel chair! When I found the bedroom furniture set on Craigslist, this little swivel chair was the ultimate deciding factor. I don't normally go for a color like this, but it totally works, especially as a complement to the vanity.

I found a number of free wooden frames on craigslist too. Some were already painted, others needed to be painted. One of the frames even came from an estate sale in Scotland, or so I was told. I came across a great sale at Anthropologie and bought lots of "hardware knobs" for some as little at $2.50. If you can screw it into a drawer, why not a wall? In the pic below, I wasn't able to put in a knob to hang the jewelry as a stud made it difficult, but all the others worked well. I managed to include a Mexican tile in the mix as seen below:

The end result turned out a little more symmetrical that I had planned, but oh well. Instead of doing my homework (much of which is due and important this next week), I did this project. I will hate myself by tomorrow for it, but right now am excited to see some more color and order to my room!
