This year in collages

I dripped some wax on this collage that I found in Venice Italy about 3 years ago.

For this one I used a leftover chocolate wrapping that my good friend L brought me back from Moscow. I also used a piece from a childhood music box that I had. It was a grand piano that played Fur Elise and even though I always hated the song Fur Elise (seriously that was the cheesy and easy show off song for all kids who somewhat played piano) I really loved the music box because it was so pretty.

I made this one as a gift for my dearest friend, A. She is in medical school and so I though this would be cute. Most of the materials came from the Fremont Sunday Flea Market. I found some great typewriter keys, watch face, but my favorite part was the 100 year old hand written prescription which the vendor just threw in for free!
