Due to various reasons I now find myself back in the states. I left Port-Au-Prince yesterday morning and arrived in San Francisco at 11 pm. I will be spending a week in California with family and then driving back to the Seattle area sometime next week after the 4th of July.
It is earlier than I anticipated coming home and I am still kind of reeling. As of now I plan to live with the parents in T-town and be a total bum this summer. I am in no rush to find a lame job to pay bills--so I am just going to avoid bills for as long as I possibly can! When I am done having an existential crisis and have money to pay for the bill, I will reactivate my cell phone.
I am now processing the last six months, trying to figure out the future and specifically school plans, and do my best to fit back into Seattle/Tacoma after being gone.

I can't wait to see you when you get back to town! We love you and miss you!!! Hope you are doing well. I understand if you'll need some time for culture shock before hanging out . . . I felt like I just needed some time to unwind after Moscow and your journey has been much more intense, I'm sure. Looking forward to hearing about all the great work you have been doing! Safe travels home!
Senorita, You need to give me a call and explain yourself. Since the phone call is out of the questions send me an email. Much love.

welcome home!
drop us an email the next time you are planning to visit glpc. we're at the lynnwood site but have no objection to "toggling" (as pastor kelly disapprovingly calls it) southward to green lake if we know "out-of-town family" will be there. =0)
