Happy St. Patty's Day!

While I do claim Irish heritage and even my name is about as Irish as you can get, I think I'm going to avoid the pub scene tonight since I'm not in a "crowd" mood. I think I'll go out tomorrow night for a post-Patty celebration. =)
'
My first name, Erin, literally means "Ireland." I'm featured in a famous Gaelic saying, "Erin go bragh!" which means "Long Live Ireland!" I wouldn't mind living a long life so feel free to greet me with this phrase from now on. My middle name, Teresa, and last name, Murphy, are both just Irish through and through. Too bad it's also an extremely common name. I think Erin Murphy is about the equivalent of the English name Anne Smith or the Mexican name Maria Garcia.

Jack flew back to the Caribbean earlier this week. It was so great to have hi
m here in DC again although it's really hard to be hospitable with my living situation! No guys at all are allowed past the lobby/downstairs area so he couldn't even help me carry luggage and stuff up to my room. Before he left we both made a visit to Trader Joes, the best damn grocery store ever! Jack made sure my chocolate stock would last me until he saw me again in 6 weeks. So my entire cubby corner of girls at work are going to enjoy his generosity!
'
Besides swimming, laundry and Creole homework, I'm not doing much today. I'm resting before my next wave of visitors arrive. My dad and bro will be coming on Monday and staying for almost a week. Abbie will be visiting her brother in Philly and hopes to visit DC next weekend. I hope we can make it work!
'
For now, I'll leave you with some pictures from the last few weeks....
