Snow

This is currently the view outside my window. It snowed quite a few inches within the past couple hours. Everything appears to be shutting down. I went swimming this morning but only got 20 minutes of swimming in. When I arrived I was told to hurry since the pool was closing in 30 minutes. They were closing due to weather. So annoying. Especially considering I've gone twice already this week only to discover that the pool was randomly closed for heating repairs.

And then I just learned that the church I attend here cancelled their service! We meet in the evening and I got an email saying it will be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. Geez! It's not like this is a blizzard! I haven't made it to church for the last couple weeks for various reasons--out-of-town visitors, being sick, super bowl, and now service cancellation! Good thing my faith isn't based on church points.

This un-blizzard is enough to give me cabin fever though. *sigh*
